Youth vs Maidstone Vets
They
fought, but unfortunately on this occasion, did not conquer! .
But your Barming managers/committee members put on a performance
that the spectators who attended will never forget.
Barming
arrived looking full of spirit and raring to go. In the opening
minutes Barming had a chance for goal but were thwarted. Maidstone
took the lead after some fine play from their midfield through
the Barming defence and netted home. The Barming goal keeper made
some fine saves from the continuous Maidstone onslaught. Barming
worked hard and made the Vets work even harder.

It
was a highly and competitive match that continued to enthral those
on the side lines. The Vets proved the better side and in the
end were comfortable winners. In this, their very first game together
it has to be said that the Barming players came off with their
heads held high and are very much looking forward to their next
fixture.

Barming
Youth F.C Chairman Mr Paul Flisher said "It
was a thoroughly enjoyable day and was played in a friendly manner".
Man
of the Match in the Barming camp went to David Garety.

Come
on guys things can only get better!
